2016 Dixie Shootout #1 - NGQMA

This is Dillon's first year racing for points in the Dixie Shootout Regional Series in both Jr Honda and Jr Animal.

On April 16th, we were racing at NGQMA in Cumming, GA for the first Dixie Shootout race of 2016.

Dillon qualified 9th in Jr Honda, which put him starting 3rd in the B Main. In Jr Animal, he qualified 2nd.

He finished 2nd in the Jr Honda B Main, and started 8th in the feature.

Dillon had a good day, even if it was a really long one for all of us. He passed some cars and ended up finishing 6th in Jr Honda. In the Animal, he got caught up in a wreck coming to the green and had to come off the track for repairs, restarting in the back of field. He hung in there and ended up 7th. We are so proud of Dillon!
